Has anyone ever heard of/played Alternity in the past? It's a pen-and-paper table top game from WotC that was discontinued a number of years ago. Its focus is on a more futuristic style of gameplay, but it can certainly be used for fantasy as well.

In any case, I've never found anyone who had played, let alone heard of it, since my first group. Anyone out there? :P

I never actually played it but back when it first came out I learned the rules and considered running a SF campaign with it. I think Alternity has a lot of neat ideas and clever systems. Shame it is a dead system.
