Wow, I ran across a great FAQ about the game. Please take a look, I am amending my initial post as well.

Tyson and Steve,

Can you remember which boxes you have, exactly? I 'd like to leave a sheet down there so others could play.

Based on what I remember, am guessing:

Spetsnatz Commandos Unit Box
Spetsnatz Commandos Attachment Box
Spetsnatz Kolossus Unit box
RPG Soldaty Unit Box
RPG Soldaty Attachment Box

It was intresting but short. Tyson did manage to waste my toad, and I pulled of some snipe shots on his infantry with your UNA heavy infantry. Thanks for letting us use the minis by the way.

Like Steve said it was short lived, but the Red Blok swarm does not die easily. Giving a unit of REd Blok infantry two medics is like giving a prostitute a tip, it may be a little redundant, but it's highly effective.

I can't wait till the new models we ordered come in, two AFV's and some Dragonov commandos, we'll finally have a full platoon and maybe can try some missions.

Cool, If you are playing again this Thurs. I'll try and leave mine again.

I have a unit of Assault Golems on order with Jon.

I recently picked up Assault Goliaths and the Copperhead (UNA).

I should be able to field close to 2000AP for UNA and slightly less for Theirans. So we should be able to do all of the missions very soon. Jon's apes have got to be more than 2000 APs now.

Well I have a little business to take care of then I'm going to head down to CCCG early if John wants to play a game. Red Blok vs. Karmans. Anyone else going to be there today?

It went very well for Tyson, apperently snpiers are karmans worst nightmare. John had some bad luck against Red Blok. But it was an intresting night.

I think I will be down tomorrow (2/9/08), prob around 3PM. I'm going to look over the missions and try to pick out one.

I'll be there tomorrow and am willing to try a mission. How many points do you want to play? If I use a valid platoon template from one of the four army structures, I think I can get a max of 1795 pts. That's a full platoon with a lot of officers. Of course I can easily trim it down but to get a full platoon the list has to be around 1500 at least.

I'd like to try a mission that uses reinforcement rules, such as Mission 3 from the rulebook, page 90.

Attacking force: 1500 Assault / 500 points Reinforcement

Defending force: 1000 Assault / 1000 points Reinforcement

I will try to make one of each for my forces.

If other folks come and don't have that many forces, then I think I'd like to try smaller missions from OD or here:

Thx for a good game Wayne, next time maybe we'll be a little faster and have time to finish. Though, i do think the game went pretty fluidly for the first mission I've tried and never having used Therians before. I don't think, however, I'll hand you my Wraith Golgoth on a silver platter next time

And, Steve, I'll let you use the snipers next time so you can quityerbitchin :) I definitely liked the depolyment zone concept, it's a lot like the missions really. It turned a game that would usually take an hour into 30 min. We could of been in close combat by turn two. We'll have to try out some the smaller missions next time.
