FALL AT-43 GAME SCHEDULE

Post by CleverName » Sat Aug 16, 2008 9:13 am

I've come up with some dates to play AT-43 at CCCG. My plan is to come down round 2PM until closing. I hope you other At-43 fans, or people that want to learn about the game can make it.

If you can come down, please let me know what you are interested in playing (demo, scenario, etc.). I'd rather not squander my "play time" trying to figure out army lists! ;)

(These are all Saturdays, BTW.)

September 20, 2008

October 4, 2008 [ CANCELLED -- WILL RESCHEDULE!!!]

November 8, 2008

Thanks!

I would love to play you but I'm stuck in the books as usual.

Good point, I should have been more clear.
I'll be free in a month after I graduate and take my Certification exam, hopefully I wont have to relocate for a job and then it will be game time for me :D

What Cripple X says is correct. If you want to learn please come by. It is a Sc-fi game, with a much different feel than GW. If you have specific questions I will be happy to answer.

Here is a good website for general info:

It went pretty well; considering we did a 2 vs 1 scenario

jon fielded about 5000 pts of monkeys a combined RB and Therian force.

Jon went after the RB first and spanked them pretty hard, but the Therians managed to lock down the Jindo and that shifted the tide.

I will be there this Saturday as advertised, but the times will be different:

Noon - 4:30

Keith, Jon and I will be there, so come over to CCCG and play if you can!

I'm gonna be up there this Sat. for some At43; what kind of list(s) should I bring?

Great!

I am going to submit a scenario to FFG for publication and this is my playtest.

The idea is that you are trying to capture a Therian supply depot that has several small landing pads. Unfortunately, your forces are not the only ones.

2000 pt. forces (1000 Assault | 1000 Reinforcements)

You can use any faction, but please, no free (anything goes) templates.

Watch out about putting units over 300 points in your Reinforcements. Holding a single objective normally only gives you 50 - 150 pts per turn.

Remember that only SOLDIERS can hold objectives and gain VP and RPs -- AVFs cannot (some Heroes and factions break this rule).

Four of us showed up for the game last weekend; Sorry the rest of you could not make it.

My scenario went over pretty well most of us were able to get all of our reinforcements on the table by the end of the game.

My friend Matt showed up and we taught him how to play.

UNA vs. Therians -- UNA won

Karmen vs. Red Blok -- Karmen won
