not sure really. I know we got some dark elves, orcs and gobbos, a few highelves, and i think an empire player. There might be a demon or vampire player as well. I am working on chaos mortals myself but man are they still a ways off from taking the field. Gotta invest in a few more units..mostly knights before i field them again so they aren't totally slaughtered.

Well.

I live in Atlanta but try to be in Athens about once a month or twice and could run any of the following should the mood hit me,....

Warriors o Chaos, Demons o Chaos, & Beastmen

On the 40K side I could run Eldar or Demons

Gotta Love the Demons,... It's like getting 2 Armies for the price of one

I roll high elves (about 3000 points), but have 700 points of dwarves, 700 points of goblins, and the codex for warriors of chaos. Really just looking to perhaps start a second army.

Chaos - 2
Demons - 1
Beastmen - 1
HE - 2
Dwarves - 4
O&G - 3
DE - 2

thanks for the list. I've been wanting to get into fantasy, but never had opponents. I figure now is the time to start working on that. I had already promised myself to play Dark elves or skaven. Unfortunately the DE book came out before the skaven, and the new models were too good to pass up. (along with some stuff from Gamezone) I figured I would see what people play to try to fill a gap. Maybe I'll start a skaven army at the same time since that update is coming soon.

Unless they update Ogre Kingdoms... that would be amusing too.

Kabniel,
Some people didn't post either. Abaddon just got a vampire counts army this weekend, Jon has tomb kings and skaven, and mo (whenever he comes around) has dark elves as well. I wouldn't mind seeing an ogre kingdoms army, and I am a little surprised no one has a lizardmen army.

gotcha. thanks for the heads up.

i'd love to start a lizardman MC army. but i just can't get behind the low leadership for some of the units. sure, cold blooded helps. but in the long run. LD 6 is still really low.

The Stegadon is full of win though :-) Seriously I love that model and contemplated starting a lizardmen army just because of it.

The new stegadon model is awesome. That, the carnosaur, and the slaan models are the big draws for me. Unfortunately 2 of those items are massive point sinks and not worth it in smaller games.

plus i think i might still have a line on an older slaan model (the frog prince style one). That would be amusing to paint. I picked up a skink priest at the last CCCG festival that was supposed to be my gateway lizard. It may end up being just that after all.

The saurus warriors are relatively higher leadership, the skinks just suck. I would roll with the skinks as skirmishers armed with dart guns ONLY. Just my opinion. If I started a lizardmen army (which I have contemplated) I would go magic heavy. Just been thinking about a new army (a darker one perhaps) without having to paint 100 models (skaven, anyone?). The main thing is I don't want to sink the money on an army without getting to play with one first to get a feel for it. I wouldn't mind doing a magic heavy army without doing high elves. The lizardmen could go 2000 points with 3 mages (1 lord, 2 heroes) and channel magic all over the board. Use the skinks as march blockers, then hit from the flanks with stegadon's....
