yhea, i was wanting a fighter mixed with some rouge so i took a superior weapon feat right away for the rapier, my plus to hit is right around there.

Thus far, the system seems much simplified from 3.0, which is a huge advantage. I haven't had the opportunity to examine everything as in-depth as I'd like, though. I am very happy that certain classes, like Fighters, can say something other than "I attack" during combat now. :D That's a fantastic addition.

The only thing I think I might not like, from a DM standpoint, are the "Epic Destinies". I've always thought that such powers should come from story, and not from stats (this is most specifically in the case of the "Demigod", "setting you on the path to godhood").

Also, I'm not sure I like the new exponential growth formula for the XP. But that's probably only because I haven't had a chance to see how it works out in action. :)
