Cool. I was going to go Half-Elf Infernal Warlock, but if Cripple is planning on jumping in, I'll play an Eladrin Wizard. :) I'll draw up character sheets for both, though I might be crappy at it--haven't played 4E yet. :) And as it's so dramatically different, being bad ass at 3.5 probably won't help. LOL.

EDIT: As for parking, during the Summer we can (hopefully) get parking on the street, but once Fall semester starts that won't be as much of an option. And yes, the night bus is freakin' awful. :P

If you want to do a Warlock go right ahead. I'm not entirely sure I can commit yet anyway.

Thanks, mate. :) Like I said, though, I still might play the Wizard, so no worries.

How are you guys determining Stats? Rolling? Point system?

stats

Post by magicalme » Thu Jul 17, 2008 11:18 am

stats are done using the rpga method close to the beggining of the players handbook, some sample stat tables are given and those are actually pretty good.

What about those of us who don't have university parking passes?

During the Summer you shouldn't have any problems finding parking on E Cloverhurst Ave. It's right outside of O-House. Once Fall semester starts, though, I have no idea. o.O

I plan to park on that road. Honestly, your place might be a better idea once classes get back in full swing, though. :)

i guess i'm the one DMing

Post by magicalme » Sat Jul 19, 2008 8:30 pm

the Dm guy i got has had some stuff come up and he won't be able to do
anything for a couple of weeks, so I'll DM for the first couple games. I'll also play my fighter character because hes the only defender type we have lol.
I know all the rules, the only thing i'm bad at is creating a plot. Is anyone opposed to me stealing a videogames plot? I was thinking something along the lines of oblivion.
If its too inconvienient for everyone we can go to zerokatama's place. i just thought oglethorp house was a really safe place to meet.

...You're going to DM and play a PC at the same time?

GMPCs are bad ideas, in my experience. I think there's a de-motivational poster detailing that somewhere...

Yeah, I'll definitely switch classes. zero, if you don't want to switch, let me know. I can have fun with almost any kind of character. :)

Um. As far as the plot/video game thing... I mean, I've never played that game. :?

I do. And much appreciated, Ragnor. While I do like me paladins, I've been itching to try out the Warlord in an actual campaign.

No problem. :) Would hate for a fellow party member to be miserable. :P

What time are we supposed to be meeting?

Cripple, if you'd like to come, that means Warlock is open for you. It looks like I'm going to be the tank, so I'll probably go Paladin.
